Is this your first time hearing about us? If so, welcome to our little corner of the internet. Collectively we’re Physique Development: a team of coaches who have been working with clients online since 2014. Here at Physique Development, we wanted to try something different. Rather than focusing on how we could make us look good, we wanted to focus on making you feel good instead. Built not out of influence—but experience and education—our coaching programs are built to enhance your life, support your needs, and make your goals FINALLY achievable.

Coaching is an investment in yourself. And it’s an investment we take seriously. So seriously, we work to be the last coach you will ever need. We collaborate with you to address your weaknesses, build up your strengths, fill your knowledge gaps, and equip you with the wisdom and confidence to manage this on your own for the rest of your life.

Most coaching programs are filled with lots of fluff and very little substance...

If this was a personal training consultation, this is the moment we’d invite you into our office and away from the noisiness of the gym.

We might start by offering you a bottle of water. Or, if our gym were fancy enough, maybe we’d offer you a seltzer that (if we’re all being honest) kinda tastes like lemon-scented TV static.

No one would take the seltzer, but for reasons unknown — we’d keep offering it anyway.

Then we’d begin asking you questions about your goals. We’d ask why you’re here, what’s holding you back, and what you need to move forward.

These are the things we’ll do once you schedule a call.

But since we’re not quite at that point yet, we wanted to leave you a quick note.

Why are there so many people being bombarded by fitness solutions, but unable to find direction?

Why are there so many people who want nothing more than to get in the gym, but aren’t able to find a program they trust?

Why, in an age of infinite information, are people left so unsure of where to go with their fitness?

Truth be told, we don’t have the answer to those questions.

(I know, big-time bummer.)

You may be wondering...

Our coaching prices directly correlate with the coaching staff’s experience and expertise. You could compare our monthly rates to that of an average car payment. Based on your commitment level and finances, this is either a bargain or something that may need to be pushed off for another time, we understand.

Absolutely not. You may have heard us say: “All diets can work, but not all diets can work for you.” We’re here to help guide you toward an effective and sustainable approach for your lifestyle and personal preferences. Our interventions are backed by evidence and proven through experience and client results.

Ideally, yes. We specialize in designing strength training programs that get you the results you’re after (and maybe even some you didn’t think were possible). Now, you don’t need to be a member at Globo Gym or have access to the fanciest equipment. A local gym or even a decently equipped home gym will do just fine (you may be surprised by our creativity when equipment is limited).

This depends on a few things, but the main one is: how much time do you actually have to spend at the gym? For some, this could be 75 minutes, five days per week. For others, this could be 45 minutes, three times per week. You tell us what you need and leave the rest to us.

You and your coach will be in communication each and every week via your scheduled weekly check-in. These check-ins are answered via email, video recording, or voice recording, depending on the contents of the response. Each week you will receive feedback on the contents of the check-in, including any needed changes to your training or nutrition, adjustments to your exercise technique, and more.

You could say we’re very involved each and every week to ensure you’re making progress toward your goals.

You betcha. Initially, when onboarding with your coach, we collect photos or video walkthroughs of your training space. In addition, we ask within your intake forms about exercises you enjoy, don’t enjoy, and ones you may want to work on during your coaching with us. This process ensures that we are providing you with a training program that you will not only be effective in your training space but that you will also enjoy.

Yes! Our coaching staff is well-experienced at building an approach to your strength training that considers your complete approach to health and fitness.

Love yoga? We’ll design your training programs to incorporate yoga into your week. Want to improve your strength while continuing to run each week? That’s right — we will design your training program to work around your running and helps complement your goals throughout your time with us.

Life gets messy — we get that. We ask that you respect our time as much as we respect yours. If something comes up that interferes with your check-in, let us know. We will work to come up with a solution that works for both of us and keeps you progressing toward your goals.

Many things certainly fall outside of our scope of practice when it comes to rehabilitation for injuries. That said, we have a lot of experience with building your training program around or, if possible, integrated with your rehabilitation program. If possible, we prefer to collaborate with your physical therapist to ensure congruency with our efforts.
